ISIC and its members drive innovation within the UK through involvement in projects of strategic importance. As an organisation that spans government, industry, and academia, ISIC can bring the right stakeholders together to focus on key issues and provide a co-ordinated response.
One example of this is the creation of a new facility for Climate and Environmental Monitoring from Space (CEMS). In addition to developing the centre, ISIC has ensured that CEMS is included in the Space for Growth Collaborative Research and Development competition, ensuring that new organisations can engage with the CEMS initiative.
